On May 25, we welcomed Sara Alfageeh and Nadia Shammas, authors of the award-winning graphic novel SQUIRE, for a meet-and-greet.
Our time together began with a moderated artist talk between Rajni and Sundus, where they dove into world-building, the science and fiction behind her process and navigating the art industry as a deeply-rooted artist.
On March 17, we had the pleasure of welcoming Hamed Sinno to Maktaba. Hamed spoke about various topics, including the pandemic's impact and the eventual dissolution of Mashrou' Leila as a band.
