Thanks Joey is a producer, coffee lover, and friend of Maktaba. We hosted him in July in our very first artist residency at Maktaba.
Matuk and Teebi explored the importance of Palestinian identity and belonging in writing about Palestine and the transnational nature of Palestinian literature.
On June 3rd, Palestinian artist Lina Makoul joined us for an intimate night of storytelling, journey and performance for our first Maktaba Moment of the season. Thank you to all who came and supported this moment.
On June 29, we hosted a day-long Shabab Intl pop-up event with Cheb Moha and siblings Zee and Tee. The pop-up featured exclusive pieces from their latest collection.
