Maktaba is grounded in the community of love, and we love to support it in return.
As part of our Maktaba Moments series, we welcomed our friend, Little Syria’s own Omar Offendum this past summer. Our Majlis saw an evening of music and heart to hearts; laid back performances singing songs about our favourite foods, reminiscing on 20 years of friendship. NARCY and Omar got talking about that artistic drive that fuels the creative spirit for the self and the community, and the care they’ve put into everything they’ve done. We are so proud to have seen Maktaba filled with people coming together to celebrate song and storytelling, key parts of what we aim to bring every day.
